How Dayzy handles app and website information.

Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to the Dayzy mobile app, the Dayzy website, app downloads made through the website, Dayzy account services, and related product experiences such as Moments, Connect, Harmony, Spark, Reflection, and Timeless.

A Dayzy account may be shared across product websites and app features so your subscription, access, profile, and support experience can move with you as the Dayzy suite comes online.

Information You Provide

When you create or use a Dayzy account, we may collect information such as your email address, display name, first and last name, password, email verification status, and account preferences. Passwords are handled through WordPress authentication and are not stored in plain text.

Depending on the features you use, Dayzy app content may include plans, relationship notes, reminders, memories, photos, reflections, goals, legacy details, guest names, guest contact details, invite codes, event details, or other information you choose to save in Dayzy.

If you use subscriptions, trials, product dashboards, uploads, or cross-product access, we may process plan status, storage usage, product access, account activity, billing contact details, checkout identifiers, and limited subscription records needed to provide your account.

If you contact Dayzy by email or another support channel, we may receive your contact details and the contents of your message so we can respond.

Website And Download Information

The Dayzy website provides product information, support links, and direct Android app downloads. Like most websites, it may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, and download requests through hosting logs, security tools, cookies, or analytics tools if they are enabled.

When you download the Android app file from the website, the website and hosting provider may log the request. Android may also show its own install prompts and security notices on your device.

App, Device, And Session Data

To keep the app working securely, Dayzy may process device and session information such as device identifiers, platform, model, operating system version, app version, timezone, locale, push notification token, access tokens, refresh tokens, session identifiers, and sign-in timestamps.

If you enable notifications, Dayzy may use push notification tokens and notification preferences to deliver Moments activity notifications, such as RSVP, guestbook, and photo activity for events you manage.

If you allow app permissions, your device may let Dayzy access features such as camera, photos, files, notifications, or QR scanning only for the app actions you choose. You can change app permissions in your device settings.

This information helps us authenticate requests, keep you signed in, support multiple devices, manage guest access, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot app behavior.

Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, Dayzy receives the Google account details needed to verify your identity, such as your Google account identifier, verified email address, name, and profile image if Google provides it. Dayzy does not use Google sign-in to access your Gmail, Google Drive, or other Google files.

Dayzy Products And Shared Account Access

Dayzy may use shared account systems for Moments, Connect, Harmony, Spark, Reflection, Timeless, My Dayzy, and future Dayzy tools. This can include shared login status, profile details, subscription level, product access, customer role, support history, and account identifiers.

Shared account access helps you sign in once, see which products are connected, manage your plan, and use features across the Dayzy family without creating separate accounts for every product.

Billing And Entitlements

Dayzy may store product access, plan, entitlement status, expiration date, and billing portal availability so the app can determine which features are available to your account. If payment processing is added or handled by a third-party provider, that provider may process payment details under its own privacy policy.

Payment processors such as Stripe or WooCommerce payment providers may process payment method details, billing address, fraud-prevention signals, invoices, tax details, refunds, disputes, and subscription events under their own terms and privacy policies.

Product Content, Media, And Storage

Dayzy may store uploaded media, thumbnails, resized files, metadata, captions, event content, guest submissions, notes, and other product records needed to display and manage your content.

If your active plan includes storage limits, we may calculate storage usage from original files, resized files, thumbnails, cached file data, and related media records. If a plan is downgraded or canceled and your account is over the active limit, additional uploads may be blocked until usage is reduced or the plan is upgraded.

How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Dayzy app and website.
• Create accounts, sign users in, verify email addresses, reset passwords, and secure sessions.
• Sync account access across Dayzy products and supported devices.
• Deliver downloads, support requests, service messages, and important account notices.
• Protect the app, website, users, and Dayzy services from errors, abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
• Comply with legal, security, tax, accounting, and operational requirements.

Cookies And Similar Technologies

The Dayzy website and WordPress services may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for site functionality, security, logged-in sessions, preferences, analytics, and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the website or account experience may not work correctly without them.

Analytics, Marketing, And Privacy Choices

The Android app uses Firebase Crashlytics for essential crash and reliability reporting. Crash reports may include app version, device model, operating system, diagnostic traces, and the technical state needed to identify a failure. Dayzy does not intentionally place journal text, messages, uploaded media details, health notes, names, or other user content in crash reports.

Firebase Analytics is off until you choose to enable anonymous app usage in Account settings. You can turn it off again at any time. Approved analytics events describe screens and feature actions only; they do not include your writing, messages, photos, names, health notes, or saved content.

Where required, Dayzy will honor applicable opt-out, cookie, and privacy choice requests. Some technical cookies are required for security, login, forms, checkout, downloads, and requested services.

Notifications, Reports, And Blocking

Dayzy stores notification preferences and delivery records so it can send the messages, calls, invitations, assignments, reminders, account notices, and emails you allow. Push delivery uses Firebase Cloud Messaging and email delivery uses Dayzy’s configured mail provider.

When you report content or block another account, Dayzy stores the accounts involved, the reported item, the reason, timestamps, review status, and moderation decisions. Reports are hidden immediately for the reporter, and repeated reports may hide content for everyone while an administrator reviews it. Blocking is enforced in both directions for messages, calls, and invitations.

App Subscription Links

Subscription purchase and management take place on My Dayzy. When an eligible Google Play installation opens the subscription page, Google Play may provide a short-lived external-transaction token. Dayzy attaches that token and the app origin to Stripe transaction metadata and reports qualifying completed transactions to Google as required by the program. Dayzy does not expose the reporting credential to the app.

How Information Is Shared

Dayzy may share information with service providers that help operate the app, website, hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, security, support, and billing. These providers are expected to use information only to provide services to Dayzy.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, with your direction or consent, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Shared Pages, Guests, And Collaborators

Some Dayzy tools let account owners create shared pages, invite guests, collect responses, upload photos, or share links. Depending on settings, information may be visible to hosts, guests, collaborators, invited people, or anyone with a link.

Hosts and account owners are responsible for the information they choose to publish, collect, invite, or share. Guests and collaborators should only submit content they have permission to share.

Retention And Deletion

Dayzy keeps information for as long as needed to provide the app and website, maintain security, support account access, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and operate the service. Some temporary session and guest access records may expire automatically.

An in-app account-deletion request deactivates the account and revokes sessions immediately. The request can be cancelled for 30 days. At the end of that period, Dayzy erases associated active account data across its products and retains only records needed for billing, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or backup rotation.

You may ask Dayzy for help accessing, correcting, exporting, or deleting account information. Request account data deletion.

Backups, Logs, And Legal Records

Deleted or changed content may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, caches, audit records, email systems, payment records, abuse-prevention records, or legal records. These records may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, taxes, accounting, dispute handling, compliance, or business operations.

Age Requirement

Dayzy accounts and community features are for adults age 18 and older. Dayzy stores the policy version and time of your confirmation, not your date of birth.

Dayzy may be used by adults for family events, birthdays, school activities, or memories involving children. Hosts and account owners should use extra care before publishing names, photos, school details, addresses, schedules, or other information related to minors.

Sensitive Information

Dayzy is not designed for storing highly sensitive information such as full payment card numbers, government identifiers, medical records, emergency instructions, legal directives, or financial account credentials. If you choose to add sensitive personal details, only share what is necessary and only with people you trust.

Security

Dayzy uses technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including authentication controls, token-based sessions, password hashing, and secure hosting practices. No app, website, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices

• You can update certain account details in the app when those controls are available.
• You can sign out of a device or request help with account access.
• You can disable browser cookies or app permissions through your browser, device, or Android settings.
• You can contact Dayzy with privacy questions or requests.

State, Regional, And International Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to, or opt out of certain uses of personal information. Dayzy will review privacy requests according to the laws that apply to the request and may need to verify your identity or authority first.

If you use Dayzy from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where Dayzy or its service providers operate.

Changes To This Policy

Dayzy may update this policy as the app, website, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
